Hi There
This is the first of four workshops that I have booked at The Higgins museum in Bedford.
They are all aimed at Key Stage 2 children, though that is taken from their website and they have said it doesn’t really matter with the ages.
This session is called Unearthing Treasures and is their archaeology session, this is taken from their website;
- Found Underground
What can we learn from the archaeological excavation of graves? What materials survive in the ground? This hands-on session introduces you to how archaeologists work.
- Treasure!
What makes an object ‘valuable’? What do we consider our ‘treasures’? Explore objects in our gallery and decide which are ‘treasures’. Create a class treasure collection through photographs, drawings and labels.
The sessions are 2 hours long and cost a total of £3.25 per child, (we will be charged a minimum of £65). Adults are free and can accompany children.
I need to get the money upfront, (only because of the minimum charge and I really don’t want to be chasing people for their payment), so, you can pay via bank transfer, personal paypal transfer or through this website, (but I will have to add the fees that paypal add so it will be more expensive this way).
Your booking will not be confirmed until you have paid me, (contact me for my bank or paypal details).
I will be posting up the other sessions soon, (the dates are 27th March, 22nd May and 17th July).
Thanks
Susan
