Workshop Title: “Natural Disasters” (at roughly KS2 level)
Come behind the scenes on an exclusive tour of Sky Studios and get the chance to work with all the latest technology to make your own TV report in Sky Skills Studios.
The session starts with a tour of the studio. Students will see the latest broadcast technology and learn how TV is transmitted through satellite signal.
The group will divide into four teams. And each student will have a role (such as director, producer, camera operator, scriptwriter, editor, presenter/reporter, eye witness/expert)
Each team will be supported by a member of the Sky team who will train them on the studio equipment and make sure they deliver their section of the programme in time for transmission.
Afterwards, the pieces will be edited together and the group will be able to see their finished piece in the transmission area and there will be a secure link to be able to watch it back at home.
Spaces limited, so book now – spaces allocated on a first come-first served basis.
No adult spaces left (which were allocated on a first come-first served basis), so please only book if your child is able to go in without their parent/adult.
IMPORTANT – There are mixed ages on both sessions.
