9:45 am - 12:30 pm
Houses of Parliament
Organised by Lou
Meet at 9.30-9.45am, Portcullis House, Education entrance of Houses of Parliament, Victoria Embankment.
Timescales are very tight, so we cannot wait for latecomers.
Includes a tour of the Palace of Westminster and afterwards, a workshop on “Elections and Voting”)
(For those who went a couple of years ago, this is the third workshop that they do, the other two being “Making Laws” and “Your Voice”)
These visits are very popular and have very limited availability.
They are aimed at school year 3 and above (which is age 7 and over).
They have a policy of NO babies/young children.
Therefore, regretfully, no under 6s on this trip – sorry.
There is a very strict limit on numbers, so I would very much prefer that places
go to children rather than accompanying adults.
Please let me know if your child(ren) is SEN, has a disability or has mobility
(However, I would like to mention that I have no experience whatsoever and am completely unqualified in these areas, so I am reliant on parents making a sensible decision on their child/ren’s behalf.)
So, before putting your name down, please be absolutely sure it’s suitable for
your child/ren, that you can make the date AND that your child/ren will be ok
with going on the tour/workshop WITHOUT a parent).
It will be strictly “first come first served” (both for children & adult places)
and in the event of it being over-subscribed, I will keep a waiting list.

NOTE – 2 CHILD SPACES LEFT. NO PARENT SPACES LEFT
