KS 1/2 Child Ticket – £6.50 (roughly age 4-11yrs)
KS 3/4 Child Ticket – £11.00 (roughly age 12-16yrs)
Teacher/Adult Ticket £24
Once the “Early Bird” tickets are gone, prices will be:
KS 1/2 Child Ticket – £8.00 (roughly age 4-11yrs)
KS 3/4 Child Ticket – £12.50 (roughly age 12-16yrs)
This is a significant saving on their standard internet and walk-in prices.
Carer spaces are free and will require documentary proof of carer status. Alton Towers reserve the right to refuse a carer space to those without adequate documentary evidence.
(Your places will only be confirmed on payment and “early bird” tickets will be allocated in order of payment)
(Under 3s are free at Alton Towers with a “normal” adult ticket. So if you have a child under 3, please don’t book them onto this trip. You can still book your older child onto this trip)
(Prices via website are slightly more due to PayPal fees. To avoid this, opt to pay offline and pay via personal PayPal transfer to events [at] educationista [dot] com Please put your names in the message with the payment, so it can be matched to your booking).
This event will close for bookings around 6 May 2017
On the Day
You must arrive promptly at the entrance/ticket plaza between 9.30am-9.40am, so we can do the usual head-count/name-ticking (this process seems to take longer than people may think!) as we must all go in together, as it is a block-booking. If you are late, we may go in without you and you would then not be able to enter as part of the booking…
Once inside, there is no requirement to “stay with the group” though – you may explore the park at your own leisure.
Also, you may be asked by Alton Towers staff, for proof that you home-educate. (Yes, there are “politics” pertaining to “proof”). Alton Towers reserve the right to refuse entry to those without adequate documentary evidence.
This will go ahead come rain or shine and won’t cancel in bad weather because Alton Towers operates a no-refund policy.
Payment Details
Opt to “Pay offline”
Pay via family & friends PayPal to: events [at] educationista.com
(replacing [at] with @ and closing up the spaces.)
Please put your name and what you are paying for on the event.
Please note: Any free teacher places will be shared pro-rata to the number of paying children to those who attend on the day. You will receive a refund after the event, if this applies.
All under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is going into the park itself (We cannot take responsibility for unaccompanied children/students under 18s)
There are no refunds for cancellations or non-attendance, for whatever reason.
This is an Educationista Foundation event, organised by Lou. By booking on, you agree to adhere by the policies of the Foundation. A risk-assessment will be made available on request to everyone who attends.
If you are a home-educator, please do feel free to join the Educationista Foundation facebook group here.
