Weetabix is an internationally known brand of cereal products.  The company has had a factory in Burton Latimer (near Kettering) since 1932.
The afternoon will begin with a presentation, followed by a tour of the factory at Burton Latimer.
Preference will be given to students aged 13yrs+  who are studying IGCSE Business Studies, Economics, Engineering or have an interest in food technology or manufacturing.
Students must be able to attend unaccompanied.  For health & safety reasons, they should also be able to follow instructions and be able to wear protective clothing.
Please note that this is a busy working production plant which operates machinery.
There are stairs and no lifts.
All attendees will have to wear protective clothing, including safety shoes.
Please put your student’s shoe size in the special requirements box (in the booking form)

Please note that there is a £3 deposit for this trip, which will be refunded if you attend on the day.
Should you cancel (either in advance or on the day) or otherwise not attend for whatever reason, then your deposit will be donated to charity (divided between a local charity and the Weetabix Charitable Trust)
Opt to pay offline and then send PayPal to: https://www.paypal.me/eventseducationista (do NOT tick the “paying for goods and services” box) or send via friends & family PayPal to: events[at]educationista[dot]com
(There are very limited adult spaces and any attending adults must take in-loco-parentis responsibility for up to 4 children (not necessarily their own).  If you would like to express an interest in an adult space, please do so in the “additional information” box in the booking form below.
(Very exceptionally, slightly younger siblings of participating students may be allowed)
