Please note that this is now closed for bookings and there will be no further additions.
Final numbers have already been passed to Blenheim to enable them to plan their staffing/guides for our visit.
I will keep a waiting list should anyone drop out.
Join us for a visit to Blenheim Palace, one of England’s largest stately homes, set in 2000 acres of landscaped parkland. It is also the birthplace of Winston Churchill, a World Heritage Site and an “on location” set to many films and TV productions.
There is choice of two tours:
Children’s Tour for children aged approx 5-12yrs
“A general children’s tour is available for school groups of all age. It is designed to give children a fun insight to the history of the Palace and the people who have lived here over the past 300 years.”
Churchill Tour and Business Studies talk for children aged 13-16yrs (this is GCSE level and participants will need to be working at that level).
“In this commemorative year we have introduced an educational tour focusing on Sir Winston Churchill and his connection to Blenheim Palace.”
and “How Blenheim Estate and Palace is run as a business. It is vital that funds are generated for restoration and conservation to ensure the longevity of Blenheim Palace for generations to come.”
Please ensure you choose the right option, depending on whether you want to do the Business Studies talk which will be after the tour (there will be a short break in between)
Adults may accompany their children – but must please remember to remain quiet during the tour/talk, as background noise/chat is disruptive for both the children and the guides.
Afterwards, your ticket may be converted to an annual pass at no extra charge, if you wish.

Hi Lou,
I booked for this but have not received any tickets. Do I need them? What happens when we arrive? Sorry for all the questions, but coming from Wales to this so want to make sure we can get to do the trip. Thanks
Hi Joanne,
You won’t receive individual tickets until the day. I’ll email out nearer the time with specific details. Essentially, we’ll meet in the morning and all go in together and do whatever tours/talks you’ve chosen (as these are set times). Then you’ll be free to go around the house/gardens at your leisure and leave when you like.
Hope that helps
Lou
Hi Lou, Just read the comment, did you mean you hand out tickets when we get there?
Thanks
jo
Hi Joanne,
I will email all details nearer the time. It will be extremely clear and pedantic, lol.
Thx
Lou
Are there any places available for children on the children’s tour? Thanks x
Yes, there are. Just a few, though.
Hi Lou,
A couple of questions: when will the information email be sent out? Secondly, are there any spaces left on the younger children’s tour? I was hoping to recommend the trip to some friends.
Hi Iman,
The information email is going out today.
No more people are being added because final numbers have already been provided to Blenheim so that they can arrange for a suitable number of guides for our visit.
Thx, Lou
