Organised by Jenn Impey
An educational session about Victorian times, with artifacts to explore and a costumed guide.
This will be initially aimed at Primary aged children, but the chap says he’s happy to vary the content to the audience, and will be happy to discuss / expand on any points.
They have a fenced in outdoor area with games (bean bag things, hopscotch, a small putting green) where we are welcome to eat lunch or let the kids run off steam. They also have a shop with lots of old fashioned games (prices and quality are pretty good too), and a café area inside which has hot drinks etc.
The museum itself has some “hands on” exhibits, including a beautiful Victorian rocking horse 🙂
The cost is £60 in total, depending on numbers on the day I think it should be about £3 each, but I intend to split the cost evenly, so that might change a little.
The session should last about 2 hours. Effectively no maximum numbers (he said up to 90!), but let me know you’re coming so I can keep track of numbers for cost purposes.
