Milton Keynes Recycling Factory

The tour include a presentation about recycling here in Milton Keynes plus our future plans, a video of the machinery at work and then out into the factory to view the machinery from the safety of a raised viewing gallery. The children will take part in the Ghanaian recycled bead bracelet activity, chargeable at 50p per child.
Visitors must wear sensible shoes; high heels and open-toe shoes are not permitted inside the factory. The facility is accessible to wheelchairs and children must be over 7 years old.
Please note that due to varying shift patterns and maintenance we cannot guarantee that the Recycling Factory will be working when you visit.
The address MK Recycling Factory, Colts Holm Road, Old Wolverton MK12 5QD. There is plenty of parking (look out for the MK Council and Viridor signs), use the entrance marked ‘cars only’.
If your child/children is/are happy to be unaccompanied, please let me know. The ratio can be 1 adult to 8 children. There is a maximum of 30 people allowed on the tour.
I need contact numbers, children’s names and ages, and you will need to bring any medication e.g. inhalers.
